Seems like a great deal, if your like me who has a first gen gps handheld unit. I was not happy with my android phone version, as it seems to suck batteries out in a matter of an hour or so. This should give me 16.

A plus 1 for the Oregon 450. I love mine. The screen size and interface are head and shoulders above my 60 and 62.
It does go thought battries, but with the screen backlight set short, and power saver feature 'engaged', it does fine.

got it and like it so far. I like how the screen is still visible in bright sun, and doesnt require backlighting to make it visible. This will be a huge plus for biking, as I tried using my cell phone and it sucked. Leaving the screen on drained it in no time with the GPS. I was able to get about 10-14 hrs before it stopped. (just hanging out on my window). I think I do want topo maps though, so I will be inserting a memory card inside.
