Picked up my first Dodge/Ram a few days ago. Has the less desirable 4.7 V8 and is a 4x2 but will suit my explorations fine and was really affordable.
2013 w/ 20k on the clock.
Big trucks have sure come a long way from the 60-80's that I'm familiar with. It rides like a Cadillac.

Thinking of upgrading shocks from Carli Bils 7100 to the Carli Pin Tops. Anyone have any applicable experience with the pin tops? My style of off roading is more slow than the high speed desert running. I'm trying to eliminate the low speed bottom outs that I tend to suffer with. Thoughts?

I have since added some LEDs to the bumpers, but other than that, she's run like a champ for 180,000 miles now. I replaced the lift pump because I heard that they go out on these trucks, but nothing else has been a problem. Did I say I drive like a sissy? lol

I just picked up this past Tuesday a 2015 Power Wagon Laramie. This is going to be my base for my next expo rig.

She's not just our expo rig though, she does full time duty pulling our Airstream across America.

My current 2015 Power Wagon along with my former 2010 Ram 2500 and 2004 Cummins 2500. I regret getting rid of the 2004.

Wow that's a great setup! As much as I love my 2012 Power Wagon, I keep thinking about upgrading to a Laramie with the Ram Box down the road. Maybe around 2019 after they've had a year and done a body style change I can do an upgrade. Heck, if I wait until 2020 it would make a great 40th birthday gift to myself. By then my 2012 will be getting close to 70,000 miles and might still be worth something in trade or if I sell it.
