I thought I could get at least an hr of run time for my dometic cf18- Its listed to take up to 7amps of power.
I plugged it in, but soon after, it blinks red, and turns off the compressor.
I've heard the cigarette lighter style may offer a lot of losses- making the voltage drop. however, the battery does drop down in terms of charge- the on screen indicator goes down to 0 in terms of power availability.
According to the manual:
Switch-off voltage at 12 V
10.4 V 11.5 V
Restart voltage at 12 V
11.5 V 12.5 V
This means the jump pack is dropping below 10.4v in operation. I think Im going to have to bring the deep cycle battery into this equation, as the voltage just isn't there.
