Looking good!! I've recently bought a 1989 460 SWB (280GE), already pulled the engine out to do the OM606/722.6 conversion.

Have you swapped the injection pump on the 606 to a 603 pump to get rid of the electronics?

delay

The project is delayed due to lack of time (first, the works for clients)
Also because we thought to install the diesel engine a non turbo OM606 manual transmission, but the diesel pump is electronic and also the body acceleration, would have to adapt him a turbo, also wanted more power and comfort, therefore we decided to install an M119 V8 with automatic trans. The new engine has just arrived this week so expect more forward before the end of the year.
We have ready 5 Hutchinson wheels with Toyo MT tires 285 / 75-16

Great project. Are those Koni shocks? Which ones? Can you please document in detail what you have to do to fit M119?

Recently bought a Snorkel in Spain for my project. Comes with all the necessary accessories for its installation and both its aesthetic and quality of manufacture will give a plus to my G.
The shipping was in 3 days and I highly recommend it.
Here is the information of the company:

engine mounts

We made the new engine mounts and brackets, welded on the frame and locate the engine in the final position, using Toyota FJ40 engine mounts, that are perfect in size and can be found easily anywere in the country.

Looking good. How did the body repair go with the rusty holes?

The m119 is an amazing motor. Do you have the 4.2, 5.0 or ???? 6.0...
The 5.0 was in the 1993 500GE model, Brabus did some upgraded 6.0 installs as well.

Thank you !
After sandblasting we made patches for the hole repairs ( it seemed like frankenstein) but was ok and everything fixed.
The M119 is a 5.0 from a 1992 sl500 donor.
