Dempster Daze - Or how warm blooded Aussies survive the country of our Arctic cousins

A little over 12 months now since Vik and I got back to Oz from the land of our Arctic cousins but I finally got around to putting a bit of video together of our trip up the Dempster Highway with our F-trucks and Palominos. What a trip! 740 kilometers of sub zero temps, caribou and your big end bears! I must admit until this trip, I though permafrost was the chilly look upon Queen Vik's countenance reserved for her husband arriving home fully charged at 11.15 p.m. on a week night!! I was to learn that there are colder things in life! Enjoy.

And finally - The Return south, Finally finished the video of our return journey in much better conditions.

That looks like a good time! A trip to the Arctic Circle is somewhere in my 10-year plan. Thanks for sharing.

Works on the PC not the IPad. Wow what a great video. Would love to do that some day.

Are Silver, it's all about what you're prepared to do with them :)

They are great and I wish I'd bought mine home to Oz but I just couldn't see it lasting on the rough tracks of our outback.

Cheers Mick

Great video, we must have missed each other by a day or so! I took a picture of the same semi in the ditch thats in your first video. That road was very slick, rough and dangerous those couple of days. Such a beautiful area though.
