Definitely sad.

It seems to be from the 1991 Camel Trophy Tanzania - Burundi, Geert Blondeel and Tony Carrette's vehicle.

It in its glory days.

Oh, com'mon. It's not that bad. some fresh diesel and some T'cut and it would come up a treat. I've taxed worse!

Who knows the damage endured by the race. It was probably cheaper to buy new than rebuild. It is hard to watch Iconic items waste away. I agree with ^^. Throw some tires on it and Goooooooooo. One would have to make lots of time to tell stories just to run to the store, lots of draw.

there is also a camel trophy community here in portugal and also big land rover club, from what they say in that forum (the thread is from 2010) they dont know where it is but they think its in belgium, i've read that the land rover has a english owner that is taking care of it, looks like it went on the CT guiana in 92, i got the info from here http://forum.landmania.pt/viewtopic.php?p=166595#p166595
