Not sure if this should be here or in the cooking thread...

Is anyone aware of a gasoline/petrol/benzine powered ceramic top stove (and.or oven) similar to the Wallas Marine diesel/parafin models?

Or refrigerator (have found diesel powered fridges - old tech but good in a stationary setting without electricity)...

Wallas stove modifications

Thinking of dismantling a Wallas stove and replacing the diesel burners with gasoline ones from an Optimus 111 (Hiker) - they have both gas/naptha and diesel/kerosene burners in their line.

Since the Wallas base is airtight to the cabin there SHOULD be no problem with the fuel change. Not sure if the possibly higher temp of the fuel will matter to the ceramic top....

Anyone have any pics or links to what the insides of the wallas 125 stovetop looks like? Or an old one they will sell?
