Will be held in Cottonwood Arizona 22 and 23 Feb. There are a couple of other threads about this on here.

This is just a reminder for you all to keep 22 and 23 Feb open for the map and compass and GPS class.

About a week before the class I will ask for everyone interested to send me another PM which I will answer with my address and phone#.

I am just coming back from two months in Baja and learned about this from my friend Doug (Strega) and would like to attend. It's on my way home and maybe y'all would like to hear about my Baja trip. I use gps quite a lot but could always learn more.

Enjoyed the class and meeting everyone. I have never used my GPSs in the method we did. I always used mine just for vehicle navigation and largely just to lay a track or drop a waypoint and then with either my Garmin Nuvi or iPhone using GAIA GPS. So using the handheld and plugging in waypoints was a new and good experience. Also using UTM was good to understand finally. Thanks for the opportunity.
