Overland Built Tacoma
Hey Expo!

I have used so many of the builds on here for inspiration that it's exciting to finally have my own come to life!
Thank you everyone for showing me how best to spend all of my money ;)

Starting off with a brand new truck I wasn't sure how far I would take this but as you watch this build progress you will see I didn't cut any corners.
I am absolutely an outdoorsman so building this Tacoma with the now popular "Overland Style" was right in line with my lifestyle and goals for the truck that gets me there.

Just to clarify, I didn't build this for rock crawling, jumping or purposely beating up, although it is fully capable for when those times do arise... This is the rig that helps me explore our country, get into areas others can not and is also my daily driver.

I keep going back and forth on a full wrap with some subtle graphics or camo... The urge to do this usually comes after a weekend of trails and I come home to find the sides riddled with new scratches — some too deep to buff out unfortunately. Stay tuned for more on this...

IN THE BEGINNING:

I couldn't keep it completely stock for too long (I managed to wait 2 months) so I immediately put on a 3" Pro-Comp Level Kit with 285/70/17 Toyo Tires Open Country AT2's on 17x8 Method Race Wheels Standards.

Shortly after that things started getting a little more serious...

SoCal Tacoma's Superstition Run January 2014
I went to this event on behalf of All-Pro Offroad and shot some photographs while there.
Let me know what you think!

Here is a graphic I made for the truck also.
Starting off the military theme that is in the works.

Nice looking truck, and i really dig some of the pics!! What are you running for the LED Bars?

sure is pretty. I'd be worried about any spec of dust on it, but good to see you using it as it should be

Thanks Mo4130! I dabble in photography so always look for an excuse to snap some photos of this truck lol

I'm running Rigid Industries SR series 40" on the roof and 20" in the grille with the Rigid Industries grille kit.

Thanks! I have put a few light scratches on it.. I really try to be careful when offroad but I never let that stop me. It's a truck and I'm building it to use it.

Nice truck. I think your photo skills help that too. I want some Methods, I like the double standard.

Thanks, I try. Yea, the methods are good wheel and help me keep the mall crawler image lol. I am going to be swapping these out soon for some higher quality RaceLine Monster beadlocks though.

Well who wouldn't want some Racelines. Not in my budget now. What I want is 6 good, solid rims with proper sizing. I could run the 6 in rotation and have properly sized spares. Beadlocks would just be a plus.
