For my "shower deck" I use a rubber doormat made from recycled tire tread. When not in the shower, it sits in front of my tent door.

This is the exact product I copied. The reason I didn't build it exactly like this is that I'd read that the slats bent under load when standing on it. I decided to separate the middle support pieces to distribute the load more evenly. I do like that this one folds in 1/2, but then I thought that if I built it that way, it would be twice as thick when folded.Originally Posted by Robert Bills

I've been toying around with the idea of adding a rubber mat to the list. Both to use when getting out of the shower (something dry and clean to stand on while putting shoes and socks on. And I thought it would be great to put at the base of the ladder to the tent too.
