Super cheapo van build, it's my fourth E350...

I'm still about 700 miles from home, stopping by friends along the way. With some luck I should be back home either tomorrow or Tuesday night.
And then I start digging into the van.

Got one big thing done today.
Also removed three amber safety strobes / LEDs and had to patch those holes up.

I bunch of progress, all of the lighting is wired up and working.
Red for night time, 4 micro leds.
Two cool white for general lighting.
One warm white for reading and or easy on the eyes.
One very bright for... well anything else.
And a volt guage on its own switch- it would be too bright for sleeping and to save the power also.
Two cabinets are in but awaiting for carpet tomorrow.
Plumbing for the sink is done, super simple, just drains by the d side rear tire but could be caught with a bucket if needed.
26 LED wifi TV mounted and all cables ran too.
I'm thinking about adding some mid size speakers for the TV and for my MP3 player, but not sure.

More updates when I can. More pictures will come soon.

Sorry to ask that, but what do you want to tell us? What us the meaning of this thread that it must be placed here?

Bbasso, every time I start to get worked up over something that derjack posts, I remember his location and put it down as an ESL problem. Congrats on your purchase.

Awesome! Looking forward to photos!

How long do you think you will be able to run the entertainment system off the house batteries?

Off the current setup I was able to watch TV for 3 hour on three days
It only draws 24watts. While working on the van. Lol
I haven't had a real test yet. Nor do I have real batteries, yet.
Once I have it all figured out I'll report back.

A leak was found...
After an entire day of rain I found a puddle of rain water directly below the accelerator pedal. I know I could just look up but are there any known leak spots?
Out of the past vans I've had this is the first with a rain leak.
Once it stops rain here I'll poke around.

Just venting about a harmless thing. Lol

Nope it's a safelite replacement... good thought.
I must poke around once the rain stops, the puddle is growing :(

So I finally found an affordable piece of carpet last night. But since I'm a little ocd I had to shampoo it before I could use it.

Then I had a brilliant idea to dry it.

It's nearly dry right now, I figure an another two hrs more and I'll start getting it in the van.

Let the carpet install begin, sheets of plywood then the carpet. Simple and simple AND cheap !

One day I'll find some nice seats...
But the carpet is starting to make my heap look good.
