Fan clutch VS dual electric fan w/ manual switch on an RRC w/ 3.9L

Pretty much that. and people drop $200 on electric fans when they could have bought a new hose set, or boiled their own radiator out.


FWIW: I eat a fan clutch every year to every other year. but I log a lot more miles than the average joe schmo.

This is my ford taurus twin speed fan 4500 cfm i am not selling you anything but i can tell you it is been working since 2010 with termostat switch for 2 speed fan .
If you plan on doing it manual you are comitting suicide .

That particular truck was sold 4 some odd years ago. No idea if its even still on the road.
That was also the only rover I've owned that I did that conversion. the main reason why I did it is because the fan blade sheared and went through the hood.
