Default Anyone have a 4 door unlimited (JK) and kids?

How does it work out for you? My wife is considering a 4dr Rubicon and we have 3 kids (2-12 & 1-5) only one is in a booster. It is doubtful that we would all travel in it as we have a Grand Caravan and a Land Cruiser too. For day to day we could get by with smaller cars as the kids ride the bus to school and back.

    Thanks,
    Dave

I have a bunch of junk that is not any better than yours.

I have 6 and 10 YO girls and a 100lb newf pup. We are perfect in there. Plan on an Expo trailer and Tent and a roof rack so that when we camp nothing needs to be inside but us and books/electronics ect. but we recently took a trip to Guaymas Mexico from Boise ID sans dog and it went beautifully.

I've got two kids, both still in car seats, and a couple of dogs. The JK is plenty roomy for two, I think it might get a little tight with three.

Add a trailer and I think you've got an ideal family rig.

I got a 2 yo, another on the way and 2 dogs.
I love my 2007 JK Unlimited Rubi.
I am in the process of building an off road capable trailer for extended camping trips, but for a DD and day trips, its great.
As i tell people, its gets us where we want to go.

Two Boys, soon to be 3 and 5. We still have them both in large car seats and they have adequate room. A booster would be a big bonus because the car seats themselves take up so much room. One plus with the hardtop is I can remove the front panels and still have the boys in the back protected from the sun. Any specific questions just shoot me a PM. I give the Jeep Jk a big thumbs up.

Front panels are off of the hard top.

Here is my youngest. The passanger seat is all the way back for reference.

Oh and a Chaser trailer is always helpful for all my gear. Here the boys are playing well into the night with there toy trucks. Rock lights are great!!

Two boys and a girl, 6 4 and 1. They fit great. 1yo just graduated to a forward facing seat and the boys are in boosters. They all have plenty of room. The only issue my wife has with it is lifting them all waaaaay up and in. Get one; you'll love it.
