I have the rims powdercoated, but I still have that blingy metal tire cover on the back, I took it off but it looks bad back there, what kind of tire covers can I get for that, prefer some sort of flat plate or such

I made one for about $20
Note that there are two types of carriers on early G's, with either the wheel facing in or out. Not sure about a G55.
I had to swap mine over so I could use this space (for recovery gear)

Actually it was more like $40 now I look back but the 3mm aluminium was scrap. Other bits are a piano hinge and small lock.
The emblem was an old wheel cap which was glued (good old sikaflex) and the lettering was from a dollar shop, the lot painted with hammercoat.
It was assembled with a combination of rivets and sikaflex. The hardest part was cutting the circular metal with an angle grinder. Pretty rough and it could be done a lot better by a pro with a laser machine or something.

I will have to make another one soon as I am changing to a 16x8 wheel.
