These are new, in the box, and custom-valved for the Old Man Emu spring pack that SMB spec'd on the vans when they first started doing their own 4x4 package in 2004. They first used Ranchos and then switched to OME shocks. In 2008 they went to Betts I think and back to Ranchos. Anyhow, they are a direct replacement for both the OME shocks and the ranchos that were initially used. SMB no longer has any left so unless you get some Bilsteins custom-valved for considerably more money this is a cheaper alternative for those that are fine with the OME springs and ride.
