I'm looking to do some type of similar rack on the top of your old ambo box.

Well, it has been a very productive and constructive week to say the least. I have made all my decisions for what is going on my roof rack and where it is going. I have ordered the additional lights from Ridgid industries and various other parts I need. The rack has been removed from the van and is in my shop now getting worked on as we speak!! My Warn 16.5 winch has come in for the rear bumper and I just ordered my batteries as well. Design and fabrication of the rear bumper will commence midweek. I have ordered some special goodies for the truck and will be posting pictures just as soon as progress is made. Much weight has been added to the vehicle and I will be redoing the springs at some point in the near future with Chris at U-Joint off-road has been very instrumental in helping me bring this project to an exciting reality!! I have had many delays with this project due to my naïve trust in vendors that talk the talk but don't walk the walk. My bad luck has run from the West Coast to the East Coast but I believe that the old adage of, if you want things done right do it yourself, has got me believing it once again!! I will be posting pictures of the progress and looking forward to getting back out on the road!

I am firm believer in doing what you want done right on your own. It is educational, rewarding, and the end result is something you feel confident in. I really like how your van is turning out....no expenses spared is something we'd all like to do and its nice when somebody actually just dives in.

How do you like that LED wireless spotlight? I've been lusting over them for awhile now...

I like the Stryker light if that's what you were talking about, I've only tested in the shop, not installed on the truck yet!
Thank you for the compliments.

Working on the roof rack today, trying to get the awning squared away and some of the lights mounted. Lots of changes in the lighting since original design was conceived but it looks like smooth sailing ahead!!

The Fiamma 45S awning is completely ready to go, parts are going out to powder this week and now onto the GoLight Strykers going on the rear of the roof rack. Have to make sure they have full movement and clearance before nailing down.

The rear Strykers are mounted and secured, the 40 inch Rigid E is also mounted and secured, probably gonna dabble a little bit with the front lights before knocking off for the day. Trying to create square and straight conditions on this rack has been a big chore. Everything is lined up to my liking now
