Anyone use SketchUp to design campers/modifications?

Usually I just use graph paper and a straight edge for this sort of thing, but I'd like to know if SketchUp is any good. If it is, does anyone know of any good tutorials for it?

Sketchup is exactly what you should be using. It's free and easy to get started with, with more powerful features available.

Check out the 3D Warehouse - there's a good chance someone has already modeled something you need (here's a sample search of the word "camper")

Video tutorials from them too:

They want you to love this program so much that you decide to buy the pro version, so it really is great. I'll never build anything again without modeling it first.

X2, pretty good online tutorials and some playing around time should get you going.

Really good and really easy. Tons of free tutorials that are easy to learn from. I'm a fan.
