I was involved in some of the production of this. The bike culture in the UP is strong. Some of the best mtb riding in the US is up in that area. Definitely a hidden gem. The snow bike scene there is going off right now. What is crazy is that Aaron has been a long time writer and photographer, this is really his first stab and video. I think he did a great job.

[Two-Wheeled Explorer]

Our volunteer bike team got two Pugsleys on a grant this winter, one of which resides in my garage. Although I have a very capable MTB, I am going to set up the Pugs for some interior patrol (multiple, unsupported overnights in the backcountry) and see how it does. (My Volcanic Vx7 does have a much wider range of gears and a front suspension, which is always nice on singletrack.)
