if you send it back to Patagonia, they'll give you whatever the lowest price was they offered it. I just got 258$ gift certificate for two jackets returned. the stuff is well made, but I think in transitioning into mainstream marketing, they're not what they were 30 years ago. anyone remember when banana republic had army surplus stuff and jeeps hanging from the ceilings in their stores?
