this is just the begining. built from scratch by myself. 3inch tube frame on bottom, steel plate for the bottom 16 gauge steel for the sides. its going to be heavy but will hopefully last a lifetime with more mods to come.

Way too much axle for the weight of the trailer. Unless you plan to carry 2500 pounds around in it. You maybe able to control the bounce with tire pressure.

Yeh I planed to be able to carry just about anything with this trailer. The box is 62 inches wide by 80 inches long. I want to be able to haul 4 wheelers snow mobiles, loads of gravel and ply woood. as well as camping trips. cant wait to add on it to it as time allows. First big welding project, using a mig welder, I think it came out all right. next time might go a little narrower been quite the learning experience

Great build, have you any pics of the axle/suspension you used. I like the looks of your trailer.

Is it a bolt system, mine normally come with a perch that I weld to the frame and then bolt to the perch. Looks like the perch gives you a good amount of clearance. 45 degree?

I still think you have over sprung the axle. These things can be extremely harsh. If it is, lower the air pressure as far as you can when pulling empty or with a light load.
