Arnott Front Air Suspension Strut

I've been running through threads where Artnott are mentioned... but nothing like a review or actual noted experience on LR3's and or EAS equipped LRs. Is there anyone out there that has first hand experience with this as replacements?

Thanks!

If you need to replace an air strut on your dime (i.e. not under warranty) then the Arnott is the way to go. They have been making these things for a long time and give a lifetime warranty on them.

I have completely blown away the air springs by over traveling the suspension and had it replaced under warranty no questions asked - in fact they sent me an entire replacement set once because they had improved their process and wanted me to have the new version all around.

If we replace a strut / air spring on a Land Rover it is with an Arnott.

I have them on my LR3. They seem like very high quality units and the ride feels similar to stock.

Just reviving this quick. So does Arnott only make the Front Strut? Is there a difference between front and rear?

It would be worthwhile giving them a call, one section does not list it, another lists something for the discovery rear. The front and rear are different, but if I recall, they all took the same Koni FSD. I would also note, they mention they are co-developed with Bilstein, so you might as well get them from Arnott with that warranty.

If you haven't broken a bladder, you can actually refurbish them yourself. I did mine with Koni FSD dampers, and a new seal kit. Inspected and retreated the bags, and it's been good to so since. A bit more expensive, but a decent ride, and little less harsh ride, which results in smoother off road ride.

Arnott's products are generally good - I have a pair of their replacement air bags on the front of my L322. But prices for delphi struts (OEM supplier) have come way down in the past couple of years. I do not know of a US supplier, but you can pick these struts up in the UK, pay for shipping to the US, and still come out at a similar price to what they cost from Arnott. And you have OEM parts.

We have no affiliation to Island 4x4 other than that they are a Britpart dealer and sell our products. I have purchased from them numerous times and their prices & service are great.
