Jeep clean diesels

I saw this in a 4x4 mag and thought it was great. Jeep is taking the euro clean diesels and putting them in US vehicles.
I hope Toyota gets on the ball with diesel suv's and diesel-hybrids.

The 3.0l CRD seems to be a decent engine. We were all hoping that when they made the switch from the 4.0l in the wrangler, they would use the same gas engine that they are using in the KJ's, making it easy(er) to swap in the 3.0CRD...but no such luck....

If you really want a diesel (as in money is no object) this company will install one for you. I would love to have the 3.0 in an 06 LJ.

diesels in jeeps have been around forever in europe...
but this one is really nice!
