    Default Wildcat Dumper

So, I was walking my dogs in the desert north of my house today and a Ford truck with two couches pass by us headed out into the desert. When I seen the couches in the truck I knew hat they were going to do with them. I tried to watch but they got out of my site, then as I continued I seen the freakin couches laying right in the middle of the two track that cuts out through this section. I went back to the house put the dogs inside and grabbed my camera. I have seen this truck several times around town and setting at (I assume) thier house out in Woodruff. It didn't take me long to find the truck as it was setting in the street talking to someone else. I snapped a pic of the rear, thanked the A-hole for throwing his trash in my desert, and snapped a pic of the front with his cocky mug in plain site. I then returned to my buddy Jack's house (County Deputy) and we called the Holbrook City Police to report what I witnessed. The pics will go to the city police and the county deputies along with my report. Plus, I was able to tell them where the truck live's. Hopefully something will get done! I done what I could, well until I load up the couches and dump them in thier yard. Would that be a bad thing?
Sorry for the harsh couple words be this really pissed me off.

Chuck, I feel your pain bro, it infuriates me as well. I live about 5miles from BLM land and right near there is a county tranfer station. People actually drive past the landfill transfer station to dump in the sage brush flats on BLM land, it makes me ill. Kudos for doing the right thing amigo.
Let us know what the police do with the info.

That took some guts. You just say the word and you know I'll drive up there to help you put them in his front yard.
I try to never forget my camera when I leave the house because of stuff like this.

    Good job Chuck!

I've been know to go thru bags of nasty trash to find personal info - usually the people who do that kind of stuff don't sanitize thier trash. I've found gas, phone, electric and other bills/reciepts in the stuff, and the local NF law enforcement takes care of the rest. In one case I found photos - that made it real easy. The NF officer told me later it was a very quick ID when the person in question opened the door...

    Default Update!

    Thanks Guys.

Well I went back out there this morning and "Presto" the couches were GONE! I am kinda thinking that when I thanked the jerk and took his picture, maybe he got worried what might happen and went back and picked them up. hmm
