I bought a M416 trailer about a week ago and have been very busy since. I have very lofty plans of a overland rig with the works. I will post some pics of my progress so far. Hopefully i will have some new picture soon.

Looks like you got a nice one.
Frame turned out well.
Is that primer or topcoat color?

Post more as you go.

Thanks! I found it about 30 miles from my house for $400. Every thing worked when I picked it up, but I am a little obsessive, so every nut and bolt is being replaced with stainless along with every surface powder coated or painted.
The frame is powder coated orange and the tub will be black to match the lettering/tow hooks and color of my jeep.

I finally got almost all my parts in and have started re assembly of the frame. I am using all stainless fasteners in the place of the originals.

Don your trailer has been an inspiration for me. I want to incorporate all the features of the new xv entire X2 also.

what wheels did you bolt to the m416 hubs - did you have to modify anything? - Great job so far

I used crager white spokes for a CJ7. They are 8" wide, 3.75 backspacing, 15" diameter. I plan on plati-diping the wheels to match what ever wheels I end up putting on my jeep after it is lifted. I did not have to do any hub modifications. So far the only real mods have been doing SOA lift, reversing spring/shock plates, rotating brake assemblies, and a newer style shackle with 1" of lift.

One fender done. I had to do quite a bit of straightening and re weld the joints, then I used rustoleum truck bed liner on it and I am pretty happy with how it turns out.
