It would be very useful for a category on this site to contain shorter local trips and descriptions and gps coordinates of how to get there. I would love to go on a epic multi week trip any where but the odds of that happening are the same as winning the lotto cause that is what it would take. I don't have the funding to take that much time off work let alone pay for gas so admin how about i set up something like that as its own category it would add further excellence to this wonderful site.
by the way how does anyone fund a long term adventure and do they get paid for it?
Maybe you could add some flavor to it by also adding subject matter, like fly fishing, treasure hunting, just plain ol sight seeing, petroglyph exploring, wildlife watching, etc. Thanks
