HERE goes. This will be nothing for you guys who really do this! My goal is to build a dry place to sleep off the ground.
5 foot outside to outside bye 8.5 foot flat bed. 5x8
A small truck cap 6 foot long 5 foot ish wide (I forget) 5x6
Will likely run 17 inch rims 285 70 17s that match the truck samurai runs 31s but I dont have spares laying about.
Idea so far is the trailer will have sides/walls built up then the cap will sit ontop just like a truck bed. Minus the front which will be two feer longer than the cap, closed off to the outside this is to add leg room.
On the outside ill add a rack system to haul coolers ext to that area then likely a roof rack of some nature depending on needs.
Rear will likely be two small barn doors then the truck caps wing window opens up.
Questions
What material to make the wall supports 3/16 angle?
The short walls there is a place that has different thickness 4x8 fiberglass?
Insulation?
Axle swap going to likely order new to match my 5x5.5 suzuki samurai and dodge ram.
New/inprogress 1.6td vw swapped suzuki samurai
