I've Got the Travel Bug

I am considering traveling to other countries to tour them by motorcycle. I am looking for information about anything and everything involved with touring other countries by motorcycle.

I would fly to the country, rent OR purchase a motorcycle, do the tour, and then return the rental or sell the bike.

My first point of interest is IRELAND, I'd like to get information about what would be required to REALLY SEE the country. How long would it take to travel not just a short jaunt across one section, but to see the entire country or ... "Everything worth seeing" while I was there? What should I expect to spend for comfortable accommodations, food, fuel, entertainment, etc.?

I would appreciate any helpful information you would care to provide!
