TRD Pro First Look from Vegas

Jim went to Vegas last weekend to check out all three TRD Pro trucks: Tacoma, Tundra, and 4Runner.

Short version: These things are great, even though they're not as tricked out as most of us would like.

Toyota announced pricing for the 4Runner and Tacoma TRD Pro models today....what do you think??

My 2 cents. It's worth it to buy a vehicle as loaded and capable as possible and build from there, rather than buying a stripper vehicle and building it yourself.

I've done both, and inevitably hidden costs and problems are far more likely to creep up with the stripper vehicle. Toyota may be listing the major upgrades, but what you don't see are small tweaks to minor things to accommodate them (brackets, bolt sizes, configurations to other parts, etc).
