gen 2/2.5 rear cargo plug question

No clue... take a look at the wiring feeding the plug. Assuming the wiring is the same gauge back to the battery, you can probably figure out what the max amp rating on DC would be for that gauge of wire. Perhaps also look at what fuse is feeding it, you won't be able to go past that amp rating.

Did you figure this out yet? I haven't looked into mine yet, but was also curious about my ARB 50qt

One option would be to figure out which fuse and check its amps. Can an ARB fridge run off a regular cig lighter socket? If so, and if the rear socket is the amp fuse as the cig, I'd give it a go.

I discovered the rear cargo plug is switched so I'm going to be running wires straight to the battery, likely go with 12 or 14 gauge and a 5 amp inline fuse.
