And it's older brother I've had since it was 18...

My trusty friend... still a work in progress.

My road and trail ready adult.

My '75 IH Scout II was bought by myself from the original owner in '78. Since then it's been all over the roads from the Dakotas to Mexico to California and north. My daughter came home from the hospital the day she was born in this truck. I've made many modifications over the years that include a 3.15:1 Tera Low transfer case, an A-1 planetary in the TorqueFlite, electric lockers and an ARB fridge for martini's on the White Rim Trail. She's now 40 years old with many smooth miles ahead of her.

That there would be an International Scout model 80. Removable bulkhead and roll up windows put it near the end of the run, say '64 or '65. Stock it'll have half a 304 v8 (straight 152), t90 three speed and a dana 18 transfer case. Axles are probably Dana 27's with 4.27 gears front and rear. Windshield will fold down and latch to hood. Almost every old picture I see of them 80% have a gun rack some where inside and another 10% have a bullet hole.

You'll want to visit justih.org, binderplanet.com, and ihpartsamerica.com for alot of really cool builds and parts.

This international truck was also on the property anyone know what model it is? id love to get it running and fix her up to use around the property.

I drive this 97 every day. It's got a ton (literally a ton) of tools, air compressors, and fuel in the bed. 300k on it with the original 351. If I put 100 miles on it this week- 50 will be off road. I LOVE this old truck. I hope to own both for many years to come. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1432575695.841749.jpg

Here's my Jeep Grand Wagoneer.

To keep it running, it's got a rebuilt AMC 360 with:
New pistons (either .020 or .030 over)
Crank ground
New motor mounts
New Flex Plate
New Water Pump
New Thermostat
New Oil Pump
New Hoses
New Fan Clutch
Electric Fuel Pump
New Radiator Cap

Only mod is 2" lift by Alcan Spring, with 10" travel Gabriel Guardian shocks.

Plus a bunch of other little repairs documented in my build:

Wait, I thought aluminum did not rust! LOL

I have always liked how the Rover wagons looked, but have been afraid of the Prince of Darkness...

well, i have four adult rigs it seems:

this is probably the oldest 4.0 tj you will ever see. it turned 19 years old earlier this year.
much of it has been changed again and again but it still moves out on its stock engine and body. I've had this rig since i was in my 20's...

this is TED, 1992 xj that i built for my wife. it is stroked out to 4.7 and runs 4.56 locked axles. it's her prize. TED was stolen a year ago and was recovered 13 days later. fools had no idea what was there, they took $20 items...

1984 grand wagoneer, originally was going to get a 6bt but i decided not to do it. i wanted a bigger platform. i gave this rig to my 15 yo boy who has no idea what he has here (but his friends do!) i am sure he will love it. my friends and i built another waggy last winter that killed it in moab this year! i think we will be on 35s before long!

MOBY gmc 3/4 tom sierra classic soon to sport a 6bt, still pretty new to me.

My rig is almost a senior citizen at 46 years old I've owned it since 1990 and rebuilt it twice the second time adding a cummins 4BT 3.54 gears and truTracs front and rear and a 203/205 T case The trailer is based on a 1958 Alaskan camper so it is nearly qualified for social security! I've added a York compressor for OBA with a 7 gal. tank a ramsey 8K winch 65 gal fulel tank 2 spare tires full gauges mounted in an F-600 dash bucket seats in front moving the sliding bench to the rear that allows easy storage under and behind for lots of gear.An overhead console for AM/FM-SD card stereo with Bose speakers and a CB and soon a vintage under dash AC...actually there is very little that came from the factory in'68 still on the truck. The trailer is based on an 8' Alaskan camper that we upgraded the water tankage to 22 gallons and replaced the icebox with a frige and a small solar system to keep the batteries charged. They are both still "works in progress" but we are very happy with them so far I am getting ~16 mpg for the truck and trailer when loaded to 12,000 lbs combined weight which is 6 mpg better than the truck got empty with the 390 :Wow1:
Someday if I can ever afford it it will get paint and body work done but that is beyond my skill sets so it may be a long time before that happens but it is rock solid reliable as it sits so I can live with its rough looks

Mane! This truck is RIGHT. I'm with Plethoraof Guns on this. I wouldn't change a damn thing. I especially like the sunflower seeds and work gloves on the dashboard...

Here is mine. Nothing fancy, but she gets us (9year old son and myself) to our adventures and back with no issues. 91 124,000 miles 5 speed I've only had to put a new alt in her. She runs great with no problems.
