And there we go!

Everything fits, just a matter of getting a proper hood and then cementing and painting everything.

How come it's facing towards you? I thought they normally face the opposite direction. Looks like a nice top though. Is there another filter in there?

Facing rear due to the rain and weather, and I found a filter and cut it down so that it sits snug on the screen near the MAF.

Been busy lately;

Buddy of mine at work does body work on the side. Teed up with him and struck up a deal to make me a bumper. Planned it out, my requirements versus what he could do (he didn't have a pipe bender). Commissioned him and away we went.

Taking shape, very straight forward design. Picked up a Warn M8000 winch to mount into it and a set of 10,000 lb tow rings.

Stock bumper came off and I drove down to his place for the final fitting and cutting the mounting brackets.

Got it mounted and leveled snug to the bottom of the grille, and then went home to get the winch wired in. You can see in the last frame the mounting bracket we used.

So everything is hooked up and back together. You can see where I had to cut and trim the grille to fit the winch module. You'll also note that I changed the flood lights from what I had earlier, a bit nicer quality and I installed the round ones on my neighbours Jeep.

I also snagged a new passenger side fender at the junkyard, so I'm gonna look for a driver side and prep those to go on in the spring.

A few changes this week;
Swapped the snorkel hood for a mushroom. I was having problems during heavy snow of the snorkel getting clogged, this has so far fixed that problem.

And then finally finished my washer fluid reservoir relocation. When I took my old bumper off I removed the stock reservoir and snapped most of the bolts off, plus it'd end up being destroyed when bush bashing. So I got a Honda Accord rad overflow (thanks nckrawler for the advice!) and drilled holes in the sides and bottom for the pumps and low-fluid sensor.

Then routed the hoses into the engine bay (the wiring was already through the inside). The reservoir sits snugly between the side wall and the battery. I got the hoses and plugs right on the first try (protip: hoses and plug with green marking are for the rear).

So it's a much smaller reservoir but it's gonna work out so much better now.
