Cool trailer. Great platform to really do some cool mods.

The stove looks weak. Could you fab in a Partner Steel stove or maybe a spot to hold a Coleman or whatever you like to use?

Yeah, i's just a little 2 burned suburban stove top... coming up with a better cook top is on the list ... with about 100 other things lol... Have to spread the fun funds between the JK and the trailer...

So as promised a few more pics....

Fixed the door (for got to take before pics, I'm horrible at that) It was pretty much a re-fab job it was completely cracked with large sections missing and a horrible fiberglass repair job... I cut it all our and re fabbed the entire corner..

I also took all the tongue storage (Delta box and 50gal water tank) off to prep the frame and diamond plate for paint... forecast is calling for a weekend of rain so prob going to have to wait on the paint...

Also found a few little things in the basement... until I come up with new foam bedding and covers an air mattress and untill i convence myself for a better/real low amp fridge i found my old 12v "fridge"

Also, was board at work and playing with MS Paint and think i decided to color match the trailer to the JK......(again this was with paint so it's not great)

Saw this on the jeep forum and it sealed my decision to color match...

Maybe matching wheels, but that'll require a hub swap or adapters (trailer is 5x4.5 an JK is 5x5)
-That brings up a good question, Torsion axle vs Spring/shock for on road/off road use... opinions?

Plans:
short term:
weld in 2" reciever for Lock n Roll hitch
Clean up √
New bed/mattress√ (just cleaned up the existing
run new wiring
fix door fiber glass √
run new water lines √
check propane line (replace if needed)√
replace top sides
hi-lift jack mount
Licens plate mount
Interior LED lighting
Solar panels √
wire in inverter and run plugs
Re coat frame √

Long term:
New cook top
new hubs and or axle set up
paint to match JK
Jerry can mount√ (in process)
Fan install
removable AC install for park camping
4.5lb propane tank mount
propane furnace
low draw fridge
ect.....ect..... ect....

Snapped a few pics tonight... Weather looks clear for a few days so I figured I could open her up and let it air out and get ready for a camping trip...

Update

So finished re-bedlining all the diamond plate and grabbed two 2nd hand Scepter Military Water Canisters for a smoking good deal yesterday and think they will fit nicely, just need to come up with proper mounting for them.. may swap one out with a fuel can but not reason too until i grab a generator or plan a trip farther away.

Also took the trailer out for a quick trip with my buddy and our two little girls just to test it out and make a list of "to do's" on the trailer. We only went about 2 hours away in Shenandoah but it was a good calm outing for the little ones... Called up the the Graves mountain (in Shenandoah) office and got the name of a primitive camp ground Shenandoah Springs.

Got there and the we found out it was more of a Christian Camp (like sleep away camp) and bed and breakfast type place. The "road" to get in there was pretty rough and not sure a car would make it in there at all... they informed us it was one of the original Stage Coach roads.... The owner, however, was SUPER nice and let us set up cam right off their lake. Beautiful area and perfect for two little girls to run around.

Grabbed a few of these cool battery quick disconnects from a group buy. It will make it so much easier and faster to disconnect and reconnect when I set up and tear down.

Very happy, good quality and great design.

Sweet! Can you post a link for the disconnects?
I found those by accident a while back, when searching for draw latches, but never bought them. Here's the link [URL="http://catalog.mooreindhardware.com/viewitems/all-categories-misc-hardware-battery-connectors-3/misc-hardware-battery-connectors-battery-connector?&bc=100|3001523"http://catalog.mooreindhardware.com/viewitems/all-categories-misc-hardware-battery-connectors-3/misc-hardware-battery-connectors-battery-connector?&bc=100|3001523[/URL]
