Supplier for Gas Struts Assists

I want to put gas struts in the front of my camper to help the air lift system and I can't seem to find a supplier with enough throw.

Right now I have to hold the rear of the roof down when raising by air or the front, being heavier, catches on the front lip and will not lift. I figure if I add assists it will equal out the weight on the 4 air lifts and raise and lower more evenly.

My roof gap is approx 22" higher than the main body when raised.

Mcmaster has a decent selection. If you need something with a really long stroke you might also consider doing 2 in series.

Not sure of the make and circa 70's, maybe 76.
Going to attach the struts to the bed frame and steel crossbar. Figure I need a 33-36" strut, maybe 40#, and mounting brackets.

Suspa has a 36" strut. Closed they're 19" I think.
