Has anyone mounted a CVT awning to a Flippac?

I've searched for this but couldn't find it. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks - dman93

Yeah, I've tried looking as we'll without luck. I "think" it was one of the folks who ended up destroying the Flippac to use the top for another project/camper build. Bella's build comes to mind, but I've looked through that build again without luck. It also could have been the FP that SloSails used to make up there rain fly. I'll have to look for it more later in the week from a PC.

Here ya go gents..

I thought I would share what I did for mounting the ARB awning to my Flippac to help others.

After looking at the pictures here (liked the door hinge idea) I wanted something tighter to the Flippac, but did not like the idea of through bolting in the top and the ARB is a heavy awning.
So I built a mount from aluminum and bolted it on the sides using square stock.

This is the backing plate for the inside.

Opened in the heavy rain mode.

Maybe I'm missing something, but with these rear awnings, how does one open the lift gate to get in or out of the FP?

That is why mounting it high is important. It needs to be high as possible. But the mount holes would be where the FP has a captured tube, but a void around it, so it is recommended not bolt there.
In the mounted position, my rear glass opens all the way up. When I extend the front poles of the awning, the glass just touches the canvas on the awning. The picture of the rain position was as I was putting it away and realized I had not shot a picture of it deployed. Even like that, if I tied the glass off where the glass just touch the canvas, I could climb in and out of the back.
