Similar solution here: 3" mem foam mattress pad from Costco. Got it all stuffed into a single mattress cover.

Noticed the marble-soft quality in the cold... It got better the more conducted heat leached out of me & the wife.

How cold was it when you notched it?

Yup - that's me. :wings:

It was in the 40s... Didn't take long to "thaw out" enough for it to be comfortable.
