Please help with 100 Series Question

Hi guys,

I'm looking at a couple of 1999 100 Series LCs online and the one I like says it has a factory diff lock. But this is how the console looks:



It also has this button:



On the other hand, I found another 1999 model that has this:



I assume, unlike what the description says, the first one does NOT have a rear diff lock, since a similar model actually has a diff lock switch. But I wanted to confirm with you guys with more experience.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, the second one (3rd pic) has the diff lock. The first does not, as it was only an option in '98 & '99 and not standard equipment.

The button in the 2nd pic, is the center locking differential button. This splits power between front and rear 50/50 like a traditional part time 4wd system. 100 series (and all Cruisers) are full-time 4wd systems and power is equally distributed to each wheel versus the 50/50. Google search 4wd setups if you are unsure of the differences, lots of info online and on Youtube.

Thank you for your response. My FJ only had a diff lock option and not the center locking diff. And that's exactly what I want again in a LC.
