September is the time for Photokina, the big photography show in Germany. This year, Panasonic announced a competitor to Sony's very well received RX100. The Lumix CM1 is a pocket camera featuring a one inch sensor with 20 megapixel resolution, fronted by a Leica-design f/2.8 lens. Focus, aperture, shutter speed, ISO and white balance can all be adjusted manually.
Oh, and one more thing. The CM1 is also an Android phone. So now the camera in your pocket can also be your communications device.
