Hello again expo. Been around for a while but this is my first venture into the realm of Nissan.
Drove a 98 XJ from new till 320,000. Never let me down but the Midwest winters destroyed it with rust

Then rocked a gen 2.5 Montero for a while till the previous owners lack of maintenance took its toll, but not be for it took me all over the PNW.

On to the X.
2014 pro4x. White of course.
Loaded with touch screen, bluetooth, nav, sirius, back up cam, and some app thingy. Heated leather. Rear locker, hill decent control and a bounce of other fun stuff.

Playing with the filters on my S4 day I got it in North Dakota.

Extended the rear diff breather behind the tail light.
Put a Lobo rack in the back.
Cover craft neoprene seat covers.
Weather Tech vent visors and floor mats.
Snagged an ARB awning from Sierra Expeditions with screen room and room with floor.room with floor on back order and screen room was built too short from manufacturer:(
Loaded it up with all my camping and recovery gear and it's good to go!!

Things I want:
-Rear bumper with swing out. Hate tires under the truck.
-better skids. Looks like stock will stop brush and that's about it.
-dephep roof rack. I have a yakima box I use for snow sports gear and it works.

Things I NEED:
-Tires. These rugged trails are garbage. thinking of going with coopers or the new bfg ko2s.
-sliders. Going to do a little more research but thinking White Knuckle Off Road or Hefty Fabworks.
-bed liner on the rocker panels. I now have 3000 miles on her and just as many Rick chips on her.
Line x quoted me $800:mad: bunch of crooks I tell yah. Have to do this before the winter.

-check warranty on rear axle coating.

Does this look normal for 3000 miles
Rear shock perch.

That's it. Winter will be running from ski hill to ski hill but hope to get a few more trips in before that.
Oh and I'll get some more pictures up.

Interesting transition! Looks pretty sharp. :)

Also looks like you'll be putting that X up for hard work so good to see that as well.

If you are that concerned about rust you need to invest in an oil based undercoating like Waxoyl. Look it up.

Thanks guys. Definitely looking at some undercoating options here in town.
I have already used the locker a couple times. Used the hill decent assist today coming down from a friend's cabin. It made quite a bit of noise but worked great at keeping the speed super slow on the steep trail.

Couple pictures of the upper rack I put in the back for small items

Also just ordered a Hefty Fabworks rear bumper with swing out and a set of sliders.
Now to wait the grueling 8 weeks lead time.

Truck's looking great. It's always the hardest when waiting on something with that long of a lead time, but be patient. It'll be worth it!

Nah, I will always wait for a superior product.
At least if gives me time to get the rockers sprayed with bed liner.

Nice ride. I like the 2014 wheels. Cool that you had it out in the great outdoors before you even got the permanent tags!

Great looking X!

The stock Xterra leaf springs are similar to a wet noodle. With the bumper, sliders and camping gear, they'll flatten out pretty quick. I would imagine you will get a winter out of them. A short term fix when they start to sag is buying an add-a-leaf and some adjustable shackles.
Once they are beyond flattened, probably into a W, you have a few options for replacements. Deaver, Alcan, or Old Man Emu. Additionally, some have had luck with local spring fabricators.
