Rubber Track Systems

The stress on drivetrain parts is greatly reduced because you are effectively only turning a tire that is the diameter of the main drive gear in the tracks (Maybe 17"?). Also, typically they are used in low traction conditions (snow) so it wouldn't be likely to be able to transmit the amount of torque necessary to cause damage to drivetrain parts.

Tracks like these will however put serious strain on wheel bearings and steering gear. Make sure those are all in very good condition!

I would be taking them to use on muddy conditions.

Btw are you sure it could cause damage to the bearings and steering gear...?

I didnt say they would damage the wheel bearings and steering gear, I said it would greatly increase the strain placed on them. If you consider the physics of a 180lb track assembly mounted at each corner versus a 75lb tire and wheel it should make sense.
