Family is growing too quickly and have upgraded to a larger camper. Bought this new from the factory the second half of 2012 and have enjoyed it greatly. This is for full size trucks. I had it mounted on a 2006 GMC 2500 short bed truck. The length is perfect for short or long beds. With short bed trucks you leave the tailgate on and the camper sits even with the end of the tailgate. With standard size beds you have the option of leaving or pulling the tailgate off. Alaskan Campers is one of the few hard sided pop up campers. Sets up in minutes and keeps you warm in even the coldest weather. Uses hydraulics to raise the camper and then there are three panels that have to be latched into place....very easy to use. When you are ready to go the camper lowers very quickly helping with fuel efficiency and clearance when traveling off the beaten path.
2012 8.5 FT Cab Over Alaskan Camper with the following upgrades:
Nova Kool Fridge
Cassette Toilet
Jacks
Boat rack---have the feet but needs the cross bars
Outside Shower
Hot Water
Awning Rail
Led light upgrade
Dual Batteries
Have over $30,000 into the camper and willing to let it go for $26,000. Just pulled it off my truck for the winter so it is ready to go for the next person. Located in Central Oregon. Not looking for any trades as I have already found my next camper. Thanks Scott 541-550-6300
