Does anyone have any experience (pics would be great to see) using a full size rig for any of the local trails (big bear, death valley etc) in southern California area? How realistic is it? I am planning my next vehicle purchase and was considering a 1500 pick up. Thanks so much...
Socal trails in a full size rig

It's been a while, but I had no issues on trails in the Big Bear and Death Valley areas in either of the rigs I had when living there. I had a Jeep Grand Wagoneer and then a Silverado 2500 Crewcab Longbed.
Ok, I lied, there were more than a handful of trails where I managed with the Silverado, but had some very serious white knuckle "oh my god it's not going to fit" or "I'm pretty sure we're not going over the edge".
