LR3 or 4 Pop Top

Anyone dabbled in the thought of trying to remove the rear roof glass on the disco and do some sort of flippac/jk habitat-esque roof tent?

I feel like it would definitely be possibly with enough time, $$$, and ingenuity. Anybody started down that path?

The rear glass roof is easily cracked if not careful loading things on a roof rack. It is tough to replace and not an easy job. Though cool, the glass is really not practical and I am surprised LR did not offer an option for a more conventional rear roof or covering.

Pop top would be awesome on an LR3/4 platform.

One of the threads linked above is one I started. Should my roof glass ever break... I will be attempting this. (no thats no an invitation for someone to come break the roof glass thank you.)
