I am selling my 1962 Apache Eagle popup tent trailer. It is in great condition for being 52 years old. It sleeps four comfortably on two double beds. Lots of floor space when set up. Tows like a dream since it only weighs about 500 lbs. I have title in hand and will deliver within 2 hours of Huntsville, AL. Here is a list of details and a link to a Flikr album. Original:
• Original paint
• Original canvas. Has some small holes and needs a little TLC
• Have original factory floor mat. In okay condition with some tears.
• Original flip-up storage cabinet. Have factory sliding doors.
• 3 windows (with bug screens)
• 1 door (with bug screen)
• 2 Double beds
• 40 sq. ft. of open floor space
• 7’ ceiling height
• Awning with poles (7’ x 6’)
• Great condition wood subflooring.


Upgrades:
• Axle flip swap to accommodate larger 5.8 x 8 tires.
• New tires. Increased to 5.8 x 8 tires for better clearance and slower rotation speed.
• New snap-lock flooring. Have leftovers planks.
• Extended tongue with new 2” ball coupler
• New safety chains
• 7-pin trailer connector for charging battery
• Cargo basket on front (60” x 20” x 4”)
• Spare Tire mount.
• 12VDC Deep Cycle battery (in weatherproof battery box)
• 12VDC electrical system with 20A fuse.
• Triple display power manager (battery voltage, time, outside temperature via thermocouple)
• New trailer wiring for tail lights
• 12VDC Variable Color LED lighting (along bedrails and along center hoop)

• Newly painted extended tongue, inside wheel wells
• Polished aluminum rear facia
• Custom road cover and mating button snap strips
• New, improved center hoop brace stays.
• Large tarp (completely covers open canvas top) for periods of heavy rain.

Bump. Still available. This would make a great starting point for someone looking to make a overland camper. A few others on here have take complete Apache "Tubs" and mounted them onto new frames with larger tires. Take a look at the pictures and you'll see the possibilities are endless.

I inherited a 1967 Eagle that I regret selling years ago when we needed money more than a trailer. If you were closer, trying to figure out logistics.

Bump for a super clean tent trailer. I helped Chris do the tongue extension and it is much better now than the factory thin walled tubing. It's always been garage kept and is in super shape.
