So, I'm now driving my younger brothers old truck. A 1998 1500 Z71, extended cab, dual exhaust, red. The truck is in amazing shape for its age. My youngest brother totaled my Subaru, and this is what I'm driving til after winter.
I'll get a picture up at some point, but I can't post one from on campus. I'm not trying to build this truck by any means, but to get some pointers on how to make it more usable until I find a new vehicle.
The truck has a new set of 33'' Nitto TerraGrapplers, so that's good. I'll use it to go snowboarding, biking, and towing my HobieCat.
I'd like to set the bed up, without buying a cap. Does anyone know a cheap, reliable way to mount bars across the bed so I can add my yakima snowboard rack and bike rack on top, and still be able to slide gear and other stuff underneath it. I'd also like to add some lights back in the bed, mainly because the cargo lamp no longer works. Aside from that, the truck stays as it is. No need to throw money at a short term ride.
