No name XJ build

I've had a few jeeps prior to this one, an 07 2dr JK, 05 Rubicon and 00 WJ 4.7 QD. Absolutely loved the Rubicon, anyways. I'm now a full time student and I sold my 05 2500hd gasser(285 BFGs, H2 rims, leveled, A arms) to get rid of the payment by picking up this XJ for $400 with a warped head and 143k.

My build is based on keeping the Jeep reliable to take camping, hunting and use as a daily driver so far I have completed:

3.5RE full packs
31" Duratracs on TJ 15x8s no spacers
RE bilstein shocks
Rock Krawler track bar
JB SYE
Driveshaft direct rear DS
New U/L Ball joints
YJ brake lines
MSD coil/ taylor wires
Brown dog MM
Light porting on head
HO intake manifold
Lots of maintenance items

Stock, moments after buying and pushing back to my house.

Next big project is to weld in Ruffstuff frame stiffeners. I need to set up my new welder and wire up my garage first!

Nice looking XJ! I dig the color scheme :) Lighting makes it hard to tell but those are the dark Moab's.

Did you swap the steering box spacer?

Thanks, I like the gunmetal look and your license plate haha. I see alot of guys with the white/black combo and I wanted it to be a little different.

No I kept the original spacer, it wasn't cracked..Is that why you ask?

I'll eventually stiffen up the front with a winch bumper and plating.
