Default 1978 Toyota HJ45 Diesel on eBay

Seems like it would make a good project.

    No connection, yadda yadda...

Interesting rig for sure, I'm very doubtful of the 57k miles, and even more doubtful of its lineage. While non-US Cruisers can have all sorts of additions/subtractions from the US spec models... this one seems to be a "hodge-podge" of parts. Early model doors and w/s frame (wipers)... yet late model steering column and dash (albeit no dash pads). Could be a neat truck for someone

Thanks. I know very little about Landcruisers, but I do know what hodge-podge-mods a farm truck can see...

    Default Sucker for overseas trucks

Oh...joy. Another perfect example of what fun the big 3 kept us from all these years. Inline 6 diesel....oh my goodness.
I mean really, how many of use the full capabilities of a V8 anyway. I rarely drive over 80mph, so all that extra is wasted. I don't want to plop down 30K for a Dodge that shuts off 4 cylinders to give me 20+ mpg. I did haul an Travel Trailer for a while, and sure I needed then, but really. Oh well....I am sure wifey and I have fun enough planned with my ATV Truck.

ya know I have personally restored some marginal conditional vehicles in my day. But that one looks pretty tired. May be better off buying it fir the motor and and putting it into a different cruiser then straighten that mess out LOL!
