Canadian Truck King Challenge is an annual comparison of trucks of all sorts. Canadian trucks meet the same emissions standards as vehicles sold in USA.

In the big van category for 2015, they compared diesel powered versions of the Ford Transit and Mercedes Sprinter with a gasoline powered Ram Promaster. The Ford narrowly won the contest.

Turning to the smaller vans, the Nissan NV2500 beat the Ford Transit Connect by a small margin.

Details of the contest will be available soon.

I didn't scroll down to see Shocker's update, but I immediately thought 'they put the 2500 up against the Connect? gotta be a typo'. I also see they list that class as 'mid size', which makes me wonder what exactly they consider small/compact - the NV200 is pretty darn small!

I recently bought an NV200 over the Ford despite the Ford being a better driving vehicle largely because of price point and the disappointing load height of the new TC.

Nice ;-)
It turns out that the Ford is 2% better than the Mercedes! (if you take the Ford result as an index). wow.
