Million buck RV's are nothing new... if you take the build level of a super high end class A and marry that with the Earth Roamer platform... it could be a home run. Assuming ER has the capital to build one, they should waste no time getting it rolling.

Current EarthRoamer LT and LTS models represent a careful compromise between an RV that is comfortable to use and operate on road and off road. An XV-LTS with air ride and MPT81 tires provides a stable, comfortable platform for long distance highway travel. Off road the current XV-LTS can handle most circumstances, however when fully loaded an XV-LTS ,full provisioned, is coming close to the max GVWR of 19,500 pounds for the F550. So the form factor of the vehicle is very important when considering how it will be used.

I think the current XV-LTS is pretty close to the "sweet spot" of a an RV that can do it all. I would like to see more liberal use of light weight materials in the construction of the camper and chassis cab to lower the total weight of the vehicle.

A bigger, heavier EarthRoamer will be a beautiful machine but it will not be able to go everywhere that the XV-LT/LTS models can go.
