I have a few questions about this era AHC:

First, what exactly does the "over ride switch" do? It sounds like it lets you either stay in the standard factory provided lift height OR it allows you to go higher than that factory lift mode? Which is it or how does the switch functionn?

I'll let expeditionist chime in but I believe he is referring to the Slee AHC override kit. With stock AHC if you are in the High setting and you go over 20mph it will automatically drop back down to Medium or normal height (I believe it was to keep the CG lower at higher speeds). The Slee override stops that from happening so if you set it on high it keeps you in high no matter what your speed may be.

As for increasing the lift heights over the factory settings the Slee AHC kit doesn't to that, but there are ways to "trick" the sensors and settings into lifting over the normal heights.
