Thoughts about GSI hard anodized camp ovens

glad you finally got a set of these I know you had been curious :)

as I say for off roading camping where weight is some concern I love love love love ours still lots to learn though

Thanks! I'm glad I've had the opportunity to cook in them and see how the perform first hand. Cast iron purists might turn up their noses, but I won't hesitate the take them with me when I head out. I can tell you how many times I've had my ovens get rusted up when it's rained or snowed while I'm out camping. Sure won't be a problem with the GSI ovens. Those and a TV satellite dish as a cooking table and nothing will rust.

YUP that was a big thing to with me is easy maintenance

also switched to a partner steel griddle and leave my cast iron and like the duct oven still get amazing griddle results
plus can leave it out on my stove overnight and not worry
